Sustainability

Sustainability is not just a slogan.

RedGiant is dedicated to recycling food waste products derived from sustainable sources. Our primary goal is to minimize food waste and promote sustainability. Food waste contributes to a large percentage of the total waste generated worldwide. This is where RedGiant steps in to fulfill our role.

We transform dry food waste into animal feed by processing expired, surplus production, out-of-specification, and near-expiry food. This encompasses a wide range of items such as biscuits, wafers, cereals, cookies, bread, dried powders, and milk powders.

These nutrient-rich food wastes are repurposed into animal feeds for cattle, poultry, swine, and aqua feeds. Our milk powders, which are completely natural, are particularly suitable for young piglets, calves, poultry, and aquaculture feed.

Bakery / Biscuit Meal

Bakery meal is a residual product of the food processing sector, consisting of surplus or leftover baked items like bread, pastries, and cakes that are no longer fit for human consumption. Rather than being thrown away as trash, bakery meal is frequently repurposed as a component in animal feed. The meal goes through a production process that enhances its digestibility and efficiency as feed, surpassing that of raw grains and other proteins. Moreover, it is rich in energy and easily digestible, making it a great option for supplemental feeding or as an element in specialized animal feeds.

Milk Replacer

Milk replacer made from surplus or expired milk powder offers a sustainable solution for animal nutrition by repurposing unconsumable milk powder into a specialized formula. This milk replacer transforms waste into essential nutrients for young animals, minimizing food waste and promoting sustainability. A key advantage of milk replacer is reducing the risk of secretory diarrhea versus products with simple sugars. The high milk fat content provides energy for intestinal walls and comprehensive nutrition to support the growth and development of piglets and calves.
